Quality Specialist
Ensure company compliance with customer andinternal quality requirements in a high reliability manufacturingenvironment. Support Engineer andproduction team to track and assess quality performance metrics and facilitateroot cause analysis investigations.

Job Summary
Inspection& Product Conformance
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and finalinspection activities
- Ensure correct interpretation ofengineering drawings and specifications
- Review and approve inspection results,FAIRs, Test Result Reports, etc.
- Work with management to determine productacceptability when issues arise
Nonconformance& Corrective Action
- Manage Returns and Nonconforming MaterialReports (NCMRs/NCRs)
- Lead or support root cause analysis (5Whys, etc.)
- Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions(CAPA)
- Coordinate MRB activity (use-as-is,repair, rework, scrap)
QualitySystem & Compliance (including CMMC)
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, customerspecs, and internal procedures/work instructions
- Maintain and enforce documentedprocedures, work instructions, and quality records
- Support certifications, audits, andsurveillance visits (internal, customer, and regulatory)
- Ensure proper document control andrevision usage on the floor
Customer& Supplier Quality Interaction
- Act as the primary quality contact forcustomers and vendors
- Support customer audits, escapes, andformal responses
- Review with management supplier qualityperformance and improvement plans
Data,Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Track and report KPIs such as:
- Scrap and rework
- Audit findings
- Customer escapes
- Use quality data to identify trends andimprovement opportunities
- Partner with Operations and Engineering onprocess improvements (like artwork redesign)
DailyShop Floor Support
- Provide real‑time support to productionwhen questions arise
- Interpret specs and resolve qualityhurdles quickly
- Balance compliance with production flow(this is a big one to ensure OTD)
- Timely escape risks before they becomecustomer issues
- Walking the floor to verify processadherence
- Answering the burdensome “should we shipthis?” question
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity withpersonal computers, answering telephones, and utilization of computerizedspreadsheets to conduct analysis.
- Fluency inMicrosoft Office Suite.
- Intermediatearithmetic and geometry skills.
- Ability to readand interpret blueprints.
- Familiaritywith CMMC, is preferred.
- Abilityto adapt to changing requirements
- Willingnessto perform other duties when necessary
- Abilityto communicate efficiently with employees, customers, and vendors.
Required Experience and Education
- Technical Degreeor equivalent combination of education and or experience.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Quality Systems, inspection,and products.
Base Compensation: USD 75,000.00 - 85,000.00Paid Salaried
