Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System and ensure products meet AS9100, ISO 9001, customer, and government requirements. This role oversees audits, supplier quality, inspections, and continuous improvement.

Base compensation ranges USD 115,000.00–130,000.00 for a salaried position in Everett, WA, with leadership responsibility across engineering, operations, and program management to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field or equivalent.
• 7+ years of quality experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Experience with audits, corrective action, nonconformance management, and root-cause analysis.
• Government contracting experience and knowledge of FAR/DFARS preferred.
• Experience working with aerospace customers and/or government contractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, customer requirements, FAR/DFARS, and government contracts.
• Lead internal, customer, registrar, and government audits.
• Manage nonconformances, corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and quality escapes.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection; monitor supplier quality.
• Serve as primary quality contact for customers and government representatives.
• Track quality metrics: defects, scrap, rework, customer complaints, and actions.
• Lead and develop Quality personnel; partner with Eng, Ops, Supply Chain, and PM to resolve issues.
• Maintain quality records, traceability, and compliance documentation.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Required Experience and Education

• Strongknowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Experiencewith audits, corrective action, nonconformance management, and root-causeanalysis.
• Governmentcontracting experience and knowledge of FAR/DFARS preferred.
• Experienceworking with aerospace customers and/or government contractors preferred.
