Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's Degree in natural sciences or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or production environments.
• Experience conducting audits and working with regulatory and quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, documentation practices, and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present to all levels of the organization.
• Solid project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Outlook, Google Suite, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily activities across Quality Department functions.
• Perform quality and compliance audits across production, laboratory, warehousing, and related operations.
• Review audit findings with department leaders and track corrective actions to closure.
• Create and maintain quality policies, procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and forms.
• Train employees on quality processes, documentation practices, sanitation, and housekeeping standards.
• Review and approve BPRs and MPRs to ensure compliance.
• Support change management initiatives, trials, and EMOs.
• Investigate quality issues, deviations, and customer complaints; support root cause analysis and CAPA development.
• Serve as site-level quality resource during events or escalations.
• Manage rework activities and maintain controlled retain rooms.
• Prepare customer scorecards and assist with sample and finished goods shipments.
• Create visual job aids and tools to support production teams.
• Contribute to quality projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Quality leadership.

About the Role:

Kleen Test Products (KTP) is seeking a Quality Specialist II to support quality assurance activities across our manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across laboratory, warehousing, compounding, and filling environments. Key Responsibilities

• Supervisor and direct daily activities across various Quality Department functions
• Perform quality and compliance audits across production, laboratory, warehousing, compounding, and filling operations

• Partner with department leaders to review audit findings, recommend improvements, and track corrective actions to closure
• Establish, document, and maintain quality policies, procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and forms
• Train and educate employees on quality processes, documentation practices, sanitation, and housekeeping standards
• Review and approve Batch Production Records (BPRs) and Master Production Records (MPRs) to ensure compliance
• Support change management initiatives, trials, and Engineering/Manufacturing Orders (EMOs)
• Investigate quality issues, deviations, and customer complaints; support root cause analysis and CAPA development
• Serve as a site-level quality resource during quality-related events or escalations
• Manage rework activities and maintain controlled retain rooms
• Prepare customer scorecards and assist with sample and finished goods shipments
• Create visual job aids and tools to support production teams
• Contribute to special quality projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned by Quality leadership

• Associate's Degree with a strong emphasis in natural science or related scientific field
• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or production environment (large-scale/compounding experience preferred)
• Experience conducting audits and working with regulatory and quality standards
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, documentation practices, and root cause analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly to all levels of the organization
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Outlook, Google Suite, and related systems
