Job summary

IFS Coatings Inc in the United States seeks a Quality Specialist to support the Quality Management System (QMS). The role focuses on developing and maintaining controlled documentation, performing internal audits, and driving process improvements across departments to ensure procedures are accurately followed.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to reflect established processes in SOPs, work instructions, and forms.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Develop, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and other controlled QMS documents.
• Observe operations and collaborate to ensure documentation accurately reflects established processes.
• Manage document review, approval, revision control, and distribution in accordance with QMS requirements.
• Develop process maps, flowcharts, and visual work instructions as needed.
• Conduct internal QMS and process audits to evaluate compliance with ISO 9001 and company requirements.
• Document objective evidence, communicate findings, and maintain audit reports and records.
• Track audit findings and support corrective action follow-up and effectiveness verification.
• Assist with external certification and customer audits.
• Support the investigation and resolution of quality system nonconformities through root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Monitor corrective action progress and maintain accurate supporting records.

The Quality Specialist supports the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). Quality Management System

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Assist with quality objectives, management reviews, risk assessments, and QMS performance monitoring.
• Collaborate across all departments to evaluate process effectiveness, identify compliance gaps, and implement improvements.

Documentation Development and Control

• Develop, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and other controlled QMS documents.
