Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions and memos.

• Ability to work a 12-hour shift and rotate between stations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect potatoes and potato products on conveyors for quality compliance.
• Remove defects related to size, color, shape, and uniformity.
• Trim potatoes using a knife to remove defects and improve quality.
• Sort defective products to waste streams or alternate lines.
• Identify and report foreign material on inspection belts.
• Monitor product flow and uphold quality throughout production.
• Rotate between processing and packaging positions as assigned.
• Follow food safety and safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and support improvements.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and efficiency.
