Job summary

GNS North America in Michigan is seeking a Quality Sorter to inspect and sort automotive parts and nonconforming material in a fast-paced shop environment. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, document results, and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read measurement tools, and basic computer skills; experience in metal stamping settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Quality experience in a metal stamping environment preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing the sorting of Non-Conforming / On-Hold material
• Assist in performing the GP-12 marking, tagging, and inspection activities
• Record results from sort / GP-12 activities
• Ensure proper labeling of certified / GP-12 product
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sort / GP-12 area
• Maintain safety standards in the workplace.
• Ensure Quality in the workplace.
