Job summary

Performance Driven Workforce in Livonia, MI is hiring a Full-time Quality Inspector to inspect, test and document data to ensure products meet customer specs. The AM day shift runs 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include precision inspections with tools, reading blueprints and GD&T, recording results and recommending process improvements. Requirements include a high school diploma, a US driver’s license, 1 year of inspection experience, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid U.S driver's license.
• 1 year of inspection experience with common hand gages or equivalent.
• Mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to calibrate or verify test instruments and keep detailed records.
• Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills as a Quality Control Inspector.
• Ability to analyze and problem solve with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and measurements on materials or products using various precision tools to ensure compliance with quality standards and accurately record results.
• Accept or reject finished products including tagging or identifying all products and material that fail to meet specifications.
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings and other written instruction. This includes understanding and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) symbology
• Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process to improve quality.
• Calibrate or verify test instruments
• Adhere to all safety procedures and promote continuous improvement
