Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years validating products with embedded firmware and web UI.
• Hands-on testing of embedded C/C++ firmware or Linux-based edge controllers.
• Experience with lab equipment like power supplies and logic analyzers.
• Exposure to DC power distribution, telecom rack infra, or cybersecurity testing is a plus.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test setups for firmware and UI.
• Validate communication protocols (SNMP, Modbus, REST, TCP/IP, CAN, MQTT, HTTPS).
• Perform hardware-in-the-loop and regression testing; ensure test coverage.
• Develop UI test frameworks with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Validate telemetry, alerts, API behavior, and browser compatibility.
• Lead transition to scalable automation pipelines integrated with CI/CD.
• Create test plans, cases, and validation reports for major releases.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and web teams to resolve defects early.
• Conduct root cause analysis using test and diagnostic tools.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and telecom requirements.
