Job summary

Snack Innovations is seeking a Quality Shift Supervisor to lead Quality Techs, ensure product safety, and uphold GMPs on the Piscataway, NJ site. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, documentation accuracy, and proactive issue escalation to safeguard quality across shifts.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will drive testing, sampling, and audits while maintaining strong floor presence and collaboration with production teams to protect product integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical coursework in food science, biology, chemistry, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily activities of Quality Techs on the assigned shift, including work assignments and coverage.
• Ensure start-up, in-process, changeover, and finished product checks are completed per specs.
• Maintain a visible floor presence and address quality, food safety, and production-readiness concerns.
• Review quality records for accuracy and timely escalation of issues.
• Train, coach, and guide Quality Techs on GMPs, testing methods, documentation, and quality expectations.
• Communicate shift priorities and follow-up through effective handoffs.
