Job summary
Los Alamos National Security LLC seeks a Group Leader for Quality Support Services within the IQPA Leadership Team at Los Alamos National Laboratory. You will oversee deployed quality professionals, coordinate with Capital Projects, and align QSS with IQPA programs to strengthen quality culture and enable laboratory mission success.
The role requires technical leadership, staff and budget management, strategic QA, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Expert-level experience in leading technical operations and strategic decision-making.
- Experience as a line manager with staffing and budget planning in deployed services.
- Ability to plan quality assurance for complex/high-hazard operations or programs.
- Proven collaboration and team-building to deliver innovative services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders and oversight partners.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary interface between IQPA and customers for deployed quality services.
- Coordinate successful QA support of projects and programs to ensure success.
- Manage group capabilities to maximize impact on LANL mission.
- Oversee integration of QSS with IQPA quality programs, policies, tools and personnel.
- Interpret requirements, engage in strategic planning, manage day-to-day operations and resource allocation.
