Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola in Utah is hiring a Quality Sanitation Specialist to support 24-hour sanitation operations across multiple shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability while driving continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Quality and Production teams to implement robust routines, develop action plans, and coach team members toward a performance-driven culture. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years in production, maintenance, or quality operations; sanitation experience preferred.
  • Ability to work 24/7 shifts and weekends as needed; strong data analytics skills.

What does a Quality Sanitation Specialist do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Part of a high performing team that is engaged and committed to World Class Manufacturing performance, ensuring that the safety of our people always comes first, while building a team culture of continuous improvement with a focus on zero operational defects and losses. The incumbent has 24-hour accountability of the sanitation processes including safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and sanitation supply and costs. In addition, the incumbent will work closely with the Quality and Production teams to ensure there are robust standard routines and practices, highly capable teams, and space for effective coaching and communication across all shifts. These goals are achieved through buildingand maintainingplans and standards, developing 24-hour action plans, setting priorities and allocating resources to eliminate losses i.e., safety, quality, stops, breakdowns, unplanned downtime. The incumbent must ensure collaboration with the Quality leadership team to develop robust and reliable routines and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Provides 24-hour multiple shift accountability meeting sanitation requirements for fillers, external foaming, and plant cleanliness. High priority given to safety, quality, production, delivery, cost, morale, and capability building in the sanitation department. Ensures appropriate metrics are in place, monitored, and communicated for DMS's/Tool's owned
  • Provides key data for sanitation processes and losses during routine direction setting meetings (DDS, WDS, and MDS) by gathering and inputting data onto the DS boards, performing Health Checks for owned DMS's, and presenting the data during the DS meetings. Actively participates in creating action plans to drive out losses for the team
  • Key player on the Quality Structure Team in executing the 90-day plans to eliminate losses using IWS tools and standards
  • Owns the DMS processes in the sanitation area for CL's, CIL's, Changeovers, and Defect Handling
  • Develop and communicate CIPs, cleaning, and labor schedules for the sanitation team. Establishes a plan for the next 24 hours to meet the needs of each production line
  • Provides development and coaching to team members to build and maintain a performance driven culture, leads by example
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • Bachelor's Degree Technical certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years Progressive experience in production, maintenance, and/or quality operations (experience in sanitation processes or technical certification in quality operations preferred) required
  • 2+ years Manufacturing experience with Bachelor's degree / technical certification required OR
  • 4+ years Working experience in manufacturing/operations with High School diploma/GED required
  • Knowledge of data analytics and appropriate KPI's for measurement of manufacturing systems
  • Ability to manage and respond to issues when needed for a 24/7 operation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications preferred
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
