Job summary

Kroger is seeking a shift supervisor for the Fort Worth plant to plan, coordinate and supervise daily activities across maintenance, operations and warehouse. You will ensure safe, efficient and accurate tasks, drive improvement in Safety, Quality and Reliability, and provide clear communication to managers and associates.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or 3+ years equivalent), strong written/spoken communication, and knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or 3+ years equivalent experience) in a discipline supporting food manufacturing operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand complex instructions and produce brief reports.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily activities of assigned departments (maintenance, operations, warehouse).
• Oversee safety, quality, and reliability to improve plant performance.
• Provide leadership aligned with Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles.
• Deliver daily verbal and written reports to the production manager and others.
