The role emphasizes adherence to Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR) and the Customer 1st strategy, with a strong focus on 85% line reliability and continuous improvement across SQF 2000 systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline supporting food manufacturing operations or 3+ years equivalent experience.
• Ability to write brief reports and log documentation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in the plant's safety process.
• Oversee daily activities of assigned shift with high concentration and communication with managers and associates.
• Plan and advise department associates of daily work.
• Oversee setup of machinery prior to production for efficiency.
• Monitor production process for smooth flow.
• Receive and resolve operation problems for the shift.
• Ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Provide daily written and verbal reports to production management.
• Inspect products and operations to ensure quality and 85% reliability on lines.
• Schedule regular meetings with department associates.
• Provide training to develop shift leads.
• Give feedback on performance against goals.
• Follow programs to produce safe quality foods and comply with regulations.
• Support SQF 2000 Systems development and maintenance.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; complete performance reviews.
