Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Quality and Safety Manager to develop, implement, and maintain policies that meet ISO and government safety requirements across programs.

You will lead Six Sigma training, drive continuous improvement, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with DI policies, reporting metrics to stakeholders.

The role requires collaboration with corporate Quality, strong leadership, and the ability to empower teams to stop unsafe work when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality, business management, or engineering preferred.
• Eight years of progressively responsible experience in related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in military planning and operations.
• ASQ certification and ISO/Lean Six Sigma credentials are desired.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Corporate Quality to develop and sustain a behavioral quality program.
• Serve as a quality liaison with Corporate Quality and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Implement best practices for QA processes and maintain reporting on metrics.
• Prepare and enforce QC plans to drive performance per ISO 9001:2000/14001.
• Provide oversight of ES&H programs and integrate into the QMS.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze program metrics and lead Six Sigma training.
