Job summary

Mississippi State University seeks a Quality and Safety Manager for the Advanced Composites Institute in Starkville. You will lead the QA/QC program, serve as AS9100 and ISO9001 Management Representative, and coordinate audits and management reviews to drive quality performance.

You will develop safety training, hazard analyses, incident investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding risk mitigation and process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least 3 years in a manufacturing tech environment.
• Experience implementing ISO9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
• Strong analysis, communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Quality Management System and site safety program.
• Serve as AS9100 and ISO9001 Management Representative.
• Develop and manage audits, CAPA, and document control.
• Coordinate certification and customer audits, and management reviews.
• Implement safety policies, training, hazard assessments, and investigations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve quality and safety.
