Job summary

Gibraltar Building Products seeks a detail‑oriented Quality and Safety Analyst to oversee day‑to‑day safety compliance, quality assurance, and operational excellence at our Feasterville‑Trevose facility. You will bridge floor operations and administration, ensuring a safe, organized, high‑performing production environment.

You will lead safety audits, manage Gensuite and Concur workflows, support lean initiatives, and help maintain a compliant, efficient operation while collaborating with site

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands‑on manufacturing experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in safety, quality, or continuous improvement in manufacturing.
  • Experience with EHS systems and expense management tools (e.g., SAP Concur).

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety discussions, audits, and safety committee actions.
  • Coordinate and administer training and onboarding safety programs.
  • Support daily plant cross‑functional meetings and lean initiatives (Kaizen, Gemba, 6S).
  • Review and process customer claims in Oracle workflows and identify corrective actions.
  • Reconcile corporate expenses and manage vendor interactions.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality and Safety Analyst to oversee day-to‑day safety compliance, quality assurance, and operational excellence at our facility. In this role, you will bridge the gap between floor operations and administrative compliance, ensuring a safe, organized, and high‑performing production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance
  • Lead safety discussions, conduct safety audits, facilitate Safety committee meetings and actions
  • Manage Gensuite database: Compliance calendars and safety observations
  • Manage incident response and communications
  • Coordinate safety training: Facilitate first responder training and deliver onboarding safety training for new hires.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Support setup and participate in Daily plant cross‑functional meetings
  • Support lean initiatives: Gemba walks, Kaizen Events, 6S
  • Collaborate on key projects: Participate in weekly STP meetings and FEA project reviews.
Quality & Inventory Management
  • Manage supplier claims and new material qualifications
  • Administer employee Safety programs
  • Review and process customer claims in Oracle workflows, identifying issues and recommending corrective actions
Business Partnership
  • Support manager development: Attend monthly manager development sessions to build leadership capabilities.
  • Host external partners: Meet with and escort site vendors, insurance partners, and environmental groups (e.g., Travelers, WMA).
  • Manage expenses: Reconcile corporate credit card expenses monthly by uploading receipts into Concur.
Required Qualifications
  • Systems proficiency: Hands‑on experience using EHS management systems (Gensuite/Benchmark EHS preferred) and expense management tools (SAP Concur preferred).
  • Lean & 5S/6S knowledge: Strong familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, including Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and 6S workplace organization.
  • Communication skills: Ability to confidently present safety topics, facilitate committee meetings, and interface with external regulatory agencies, insurers, and vendors.
  • Analytical skills: Proficient in gathering plant data, tracking metrics, and updating Daily Management (LDM) boards.
  • Regulatory awareness: Basic understanding of OSHA standards, incident investigation workflows, and corporate safety policies.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (equivalent hands‑on manufacturing experience also accepted).
  • Years of experience: 2 to 4 years of experience working in a safety, quality, or continuous improvement role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Target Salary Range
  • Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 annually
Travel: Not more than 5%

Work Conditions: This job operates in an industrial manufacturing environment exposure to varying temperatures, loud noise levels, dust, fumes, oil, or other outdoor elements. This role requires regular standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time. Climbing stairs/ladders, squatting, sitting, operating machinery, and may require lifting up to 50lbs, and must be able to wear PPE as required. This is a full‑time position and may require some overtime including nights and weekend work.
