Nicklaus Children's Hospital Careers invites a Manager of Quality and Risk - Broward to lead quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management across the Broward market. You will be part of the Quality Division, setting goals, implementing programs, and ensuring safe, compliant operations hospital-wide.

The role requires RN licensure in Florida, CP QH within 18 months, and 2–4 years in management plus 3–5 years in quality/risk activities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in Florida or multi-state compact.
• CPHQ certification preferred within 18 months of hire.
• 2-4 years of experience in a management/supervisory role.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management initiatives.
• Develop and monitor quality improvement programs to enhance safety and patient experience.
• Promote a culture of safety and investigate events with root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety, risk management, and infection control standards.
• Direct staffing, hiring/firing, training, and evaluation within guidelines.
• Manage day-to-day department operations providing consistent quality and risk services.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders on teams and projects.
• Manage fiscal responsibilities per hospital policies.
