Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Quality Representative to support operations with QA/QC program implementation and compliance on diverse electrical projects.

Responsibilities include conducting jobsite inspections across substations, BESS, and transmission facilities, ensuring adherence to project specs and industry standards, and maintaining clear documentation. The role requires 3+ years in electrical construction, ability to travel, and proficiency with MS Office; travel-intensive, on-site

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience in the electrical industry including Substations, Battery Energy Storage Stations (BESS), Mission Critical Facilities, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, or Foundations
• Experience in reviewing and understanding construction blueprints and schematics
• QA/QC Certification in ISO or the American Society for Quality (Preferred)

• Assist operations with QA/QC program implementation and compliance on projects
• Conduct jobsite inspections and assessments to verify quality against specifications and standards
• Support the team in maintaining accurate documentation and reporting

As a Quality Representative, your key responsibilities will be in assisting operations with implementation and compliance of existing Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) programs. This position conducts jobsite inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to quality expectations in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Critical for success is the ability to work independently and maintain strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. Project areas include Substations, Battery Energy Storage Stations (BESS), Mission Critical Facilities, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, and Foundations.

What it takes?

• 3+ years of construction experience in the electrical industry including Substations, Battery Energy Storage Stations (BESS), Mission Critical Facilities, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, or Foundations
• Experience in reviewing and understanding construction blueprints and schematics
• QA/QC Certification in ISO or the American Society for Quality (Preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel and commit to long term onsite projects
