Job summary

GenSystems Power Solutions seeks a hands-on Quality & Reliability Manager to lead quality across the organization, driving manufacturing excellence, reliability improvements, and customer quality performance. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Proven success leading quality functions, quality systems, or major quality improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of structured Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventive Action, and systematic problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, statistical analysis, process capability, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience improving manufacturing quality, product reliability, first-pass yield, process controls, or operational performance through engineering and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical and operational data and convert findings into sustainable product and process improvements.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Field Operations, suppliers, customers, and executive leadership.
  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Strong technical writing, presentation, project management, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple investigations and improvement initiatives while delivering measurable business results.
  • Willingness to travel to company, supplier, and customer locations as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s quality function across product quality, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, field performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct complex Root Cause Analysis and CAPA investigations involving product, manufacturing, supplier, warranty, and field issues.
  • Develop and implement scalable quality systems, procedures, standards, and controls that support growth and ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Reduce the Cost of Poor Quality through improvements in manufacturing performance, process capability, first-pass yield, and warranty performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities in manufacturing, supplier, warranty, customer, and field performance.
  • Lead internal audits, management reviews, corrective actions, and continual improvement within the Quality Management System.
  • Capture and deploy lessons learned across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Field Operations.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to accelerate investigations and strengthen decision-making.
  • Lead and develop two direct reports and help build a culture of accountability, prevention, and continuous improvement.
