Job summary

The Quality Registered Nurse at CRMC Branding will support the organization's Quality Assurance program by collecting, validating, analyzing, reporting, and interpreting clinical and operational data. You will work on FPPE, OPPE, NDNQI, core measures, and other patient safety initiatives to improve care quality.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Nursing- ADN.
• Experience in hospital quality or related healthcare quality functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support QA program through collection, validation, analysis, reporting of data.
• Focus on FPPE/OPPE, NDNQI, Core Measures and patient safety initiatives.

Job description

The Quality Registered Nurse is responsible for supporting the organization's Quality Assurance program through the collection, validation, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of clinical and operational data. This position serves as a key resource for data review and quality improvement activities, with primary responsibilities related to Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE), Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI), Core Measures, and other hospital quality and patient safety initiatives.

The Quality RN collaborates with Quality, Medical Staff Services, Nursing, Information Technology/Informatics, Clinical Leadership, providers, and other departments to ensure the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, and appropriate use of quality data. The position assists leaders and providers in identifying trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas requiring further review or intervention.
