Job summary

Colquitt Regional Medical Center is seeking a Quality Registered Nurse to support the organization’s Quality Assurance program. The role focuses on FPPE, OPPE, NDNQI, Core Measures and other patient-safety initiatives.

The RN collaborates with Quality, Medical Staff Services, Nursing, IT/Informatics and clinical leadership to ensure data accuracy, timeliness and appropriate use, helping leaders identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Associates or better in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience in hospital quality or data analysis preferred.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Assurance program through collection, validation, analysis, reporting and interpretation of clinical and operational data.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Medical Staff Services, Nursing, IT/Informatics and leadership to ensure accurate, timely data and drive improvement initiatives.

Job description

The Quality Registered Nurse is responsible for supporting the organization's Quality Assurance program through the collection, validation, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of clinical and operational data. This position serves as a key resource for data review and quality improvement activities, with primary responsibilities related to Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE), Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI), Core Measures, and other hospital quality and patient safety initiatives.

The Quality RN collaborates with Quality, Medical Staff Services, Nursing, Information Technology/Informatics, Clinical Leadership, providers, and other departments to ensure the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, and appropriate use of quality data. The position assists leaders and providers in identifying trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas requiring further review or intervention.
