Job summary

County Ready Mix in Antigo, Wisconsin, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure products meet standards through inspections and testing throughout production. You will document findings, identify defects, and collaborate with production to resolve issues while maintaining high quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (or equivalent), experience in building materials, and the ability to read shop drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in the construction/building materials industry is preferred but not required.
• PCI Level I certification or the ability to obtain certifications as directed by leadership.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.
• Solid math aptitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record required.

Experience & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred, not required.
• Concrete plant and/or quality control experience highly desired.

Work Environment:

• Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
• Work near moving machinery and equipment.
• Work in a noisy environment.
• Typical work hours/shifts: Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturdays. Daily working hours varies depending on work assignments and customer needs.
