• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; PCI Level I certification preferred or obtainable as directed by leadership.
• Experience in construction/building materials is preferred but not required.
• Concrete plant and/or quality control experience is highly desired.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.
• Solid math aptitude is required.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during production of materials and products.
• Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production.
• Records observations and may make recommendations for process improvements.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry.
• Regularly observes production process, including setup, casting, stripping, and storage of product.
• Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance.
• Manage housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.

Job Summary

A Quality Control Technician ensures products meet company and regulatory standards by performing inspections, tests, and measurements throughout the production process. They document findings, identify defects or deviations, and work with production teams to resolve issues and maintain consistent product quality. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication are essential to success in this role.

Experience & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Typical work hours/shifts: Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturdays. Daily working hours varies depending on work assignments and customer needs.
