Job summary

Keel in Michigan is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to drive quality early in the launch process, respond quickly to customer concerns, and improve the Business Management System through audits and improvement ideas.

You will develop quality plans from customer requirements, lead corrective action teams, and perform ISO/AS internal audits while maintaining a strong quality reputation with customers and ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in Quality Assurance.
• ASQ Certification (Auditor, Technician, or Engineer).
• Experience with ISO-9000 or AS-9100 auditing, inspection & test, metrology, and GD&T interpretation.
• Process improvement, data analysis, and strategic planning; able to interact with suppliers and customers.
• Familiar with Machining, Welding, Assembly and Testing.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Energetic, proactive, and leadership-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality plans from customer requirements, external standards, and internal procedures to mitigate risk; be the contact for customer quality concerns.
• Lead customer scorecard improvements.
• Lead or participate in corrective action teams.
• Serve as ISO/AS internal auditor.
• Maintain a positive quality reputation with assigned customers.
• Implement containment activities to protect customers from repeat non-conformances.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
