Job summary

NEOTech in the United States is seeking an Associate Quality Control Manager to partner with Operations, Quality and Engineering to improve quality performance and ensure compliance with standards. You will inspect assemblies at multiple stages, document findings, and participate in audits.

The role emphasizes GD&T, documentation, and nonconformance resolution within an electronics manufacturing setting. ITAR/CUI compliance applies; U.S. Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic manufacturing or a related field.
  • 10 years of quality experience in electronic manufacturing environments.
  • Mil-STD 883 experience is a plus.
  • AS9102 or First Article Inspection experience is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizen due to ITAR/CUI compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process and final assemblies per drawings and specs.
  • Develop and maintain Level documents, checklists, logs and work instructions.
  • Initiate and process nonconforming material documentation with QA teams.
  • Assist with corrective actions and participate in process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain a safe work environment.

Summary:The Associate Quality Control Manager will work with Operations, Quality and Engineering to continuously improve quality performance while ensuring compliance to quality standards. This role performs a variety of quality control inspections/tests on assemblies, components and product at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. This position is intended for an individual to acquire Professional Quality Control experience that can be leveraged in a higher level Quality role.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform dimensional and visual acceptance inspection of raw material, in-process and completed Electro-Mechanical Assemblies to drawings, specifications, work instructions and routing sheets.Make recommendations for improving processes, technical documents, equipment and/or train operators.Conduct any required special testing, failure analysis, validations, etc.Troubleshoot returned merchandise from customers (RMAs).Documentation: develop and maintain all appropriate and required Level documents, i.e., checklist, work instructions, logs, etc.Inspection: Perform inspection of sub-assemblies, raw material, periodic in-process checks, and final inspections, using internal drawings, schematics and quality inspections tools.Non-conformance: Initiate and process nonconforming material documentation and related activities associated with non-conforming material and/or product with Process and Quality Engineers.Corrective Action: Assist with the process of documentation and related activities associated with internal and external corrective action, preventative actions.Audits: Support internal and external (registrar and customer) audits as required..Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Some experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Desired.Self-motivated, analytical, good time management, detail oriented and thorough.Ability to work well with other people.
