Alleima USA LLC is seeking a Quality Professional / Laboratory Analyst in Clarks Summit, PA to support laboratory testing, material evaluation, and quality verification for stainless steel products. You will coordinate mechanical, metallurgical, dimensional tests and ensure results meet internal and customer specifications.

The role collaborates with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Technical Services, and Operations, with responsibilities spanning testing, record-keeping, and investigations

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Quality, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Experience with stainless steel or specialty metals manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality-management systems.
• Experience supporting corrective-action and root-cause investigations.
• Experience with regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, medical, chemical processing, or pressure equipment.
• Familiarity with SPC and MSA.

Duties and responsibilities:

The Quality Professional / Laboratory Analyst supports the Quality organization by performing laboratory testing, material evaluation, quality verification, and technical analysis associated with the manufacture of stainless steel products.

This position is responsible for conducting and coordinating mechanical, metallurgical, dimensional, and other applicable laboratory testing; evaluating test results against customer, industry, and internal requirements; maintaining accurate laboratory records; and supporting investigations of product and process nonconformances.

The role works closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Technical Services, and Operations to ensure stainless steel products meet applicable specifications, customer requirements, and quality-system requirements.

Experience:

• Experience in stainless steel or specialty metals manufacturing.
• Experience with mechanical testing and metallography.
• Familiarity with stainless steel specifications such as ASTM A213/A269/A312 or other specifications applicable to the facility’s products.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality-management systems.
• Experience supporting corrective-action and root-cause investigations.
• Experience with regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, medical, chemical processing, or pressure equipment.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA).

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Quality, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
