Job summary

CROWN Cork & Seal USA, Inc. (Crown Holdings) is seeking a Quality/Production Technician in Dayton, OH.

You will tend automated and manual testing/production equipment to keep can ends produced safely and efficiently on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. Starting pay is $25.41 per hour, with benefits including free employee health insurance, paid holidays and vacation, and a 100% company-paid life insurance and short-term disability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read instructions and SOPs; write basic correspondence.
• Proficient with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Pass pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Tends automated or manual testing/production machines; ensures proper operation.
• Maintains and observes operation of machines, gauges and equipment to ensure quality ends.
• Inspects ends according to customer specifications and records results.
• Interprets quality test results and informs Team Leader if specs are not met.
• Performs housekeeping and cleaning duties around equipment and workspace.
