Job summary

Dana Incorporated in the United States (Dry Ridge, KY) is seeking a Group Leader to supervise team leaders and quality technicians, ensuring the highest product quality and adherence to lean manufacturing practices on the production lines.

You will participate in process improvements, create and review process flow diagrams, control plans, and FMEA, and drive safety, 5S, and ergonomic initiatives while maintaining accurate employee records.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent acceptable.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Solid understanding of Lean Principles and the production process.
  • Knowledge of internal and external quality systems and standards.
  • Ability to adhere to ethical business practices and treat employees respectfully.
  • NDT Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with CQI 15 – Special Weld Processes.
  • Background in dimensional metrology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise team leaders and quality technicians to achieve plant goals.
  • Improve efficiency, reduce scrap, while maintaining safety and on-time delivery.
  • Lead quality initiatives and ensure compliance with 5S standards.
  • Maintain employee records and administer performance reviews and corrective actions.
  • Ensure conformance to work instructions and quality systems.
  • Participate in safety and ergonomic teams.
