Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Quality & Continuous Improvement professional in Massachusetts to collect and analyze quality data, develop dashboards, and drive process improvements across operations and supplier management.

The role requires 2–4 years in quality or operational excellence, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel with data visualization. You will collaborate cross-functionally to reduce waste and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a manufacturing, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in quality, continuous improvement, or operations excellence roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data visualization/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Track and report KPIs such as PPM, defect rates, returns, SCARs, corrective actions, and process performance.
• Develop dashboards and visual tools to support management decision-making.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities related to product quality, inspection methods, warehouse processes, and supplier performance.
• Support Lean, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving initiatives.
• Facilitate root cause analysis using methods like 5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto, and A3.
• Partner with Operations and Warehouse teams to reduce waste, variation, and rework.
• Measure and validate the effectiveness of improvement actions using data and KPIs.
• Recommend process, tooling, or system improvements to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
• Analyze supplier quality performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and verify long-term effectiveness.
• Assist with incoming inspection strategies and risk-based inspection approaches.
• Drive corrective and preventive action processes from problem identification through closure.
• Track action items, due dates, and effectiveness checks.
• Ensure actions align with prevention and continuous improvement.
• Support customer quality issue investigations and data-driven resolution.
• Analyze customer returns and complaints to identify systemic improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve customer satisfaction and quality consistency.
• Maintain quality documentation, records, and improvement logs.
• Support internal audits and quality system compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Assist in updating procedures, work instructions, and standard work from improvement initiatives.
