Job Description

The Quality Process Engineer will support quality reporting tools and quality process improvement initiatives across FBIN operations. This role is responsible for standardizing quality processes, maintaining quality reporting tools, analyzing enterprise-level performance data, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive best practices, compliance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of quality systems, modern visualization tools, enterprise process architecture, and change management within a complex, matrixed organization.

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

  • Lead the documentation and maintenance of standardized corporate quality processes documents such as Quality Analytic reporting, Claims, Field Service, and CAPA.
  • Lead the documentation and maintenance of standardized corporate quality tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, and Qliksense.
  • Interact with Quality teams and other cross-functional partners to automate, execute, and maintain complex visualization tools that support enhancements / bug fixes for quality related reporting tools.
  • Analyze new and existing Quality data sources in conjunction with a working knowledge of various materials, manufacturing techniques, and engineering practices to identify and remedy solutions for quality issues and business process inefficiencies / ineffectiveness.
  • Interact with call centers, Product Managers, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional partners to investigate product performance outliers and develop recommendations to improve quality outcomes and business value.
  • Liaise with the GPG Data Analytics team to translate business (Quality functional) needs for data access and reporting into technical requirements and ensure adoption of and management of tableau reporting tools by the business.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Operations, Logistics, Quality &/or Product Development.
  • Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple disciplines and levels, ranging from senior management to peers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and commitment to world class Operations, manufacturing, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions. Working knowledge of analytical tools such as Qlik tools &/or Tableau preferred. Working knowledge of data training models for trend predictions.
  • Excellent attention to detail. Does not let important details slip through the cracks. Has a grasp on business financials and where they come from.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $60,000 USD - $99,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
