Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a Quality Improvement professional to coordinate a system-wide PI program and participate in Sigma quality projects. You will support CMS core measure data collection, analyze results, and create action plans with stakeholders across STHS facilities.

You will generate monthly core measure reports, conduct staff and physician communications, and assist with meetings and reviews. A strong background in nursing/QI and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Nursing, Computer Science, business or health-related field, or 5+ years Quality experience.
• RN license in Texas or compact state, or a temporary Texas RN license may be required.
• BLS upon hire and maintained during employment.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint; familiarity with compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization-wide Performance Improvement program.
• Participate in six sigma quality projects and QC functions.
• Perform data collection reviews for CMS core measures across facilities.
• Analyze data and create action plans with stakeholders.
• Generate monthly core measure reports to identify improvements.
• One-to-one contact with nursing staff and physicians for areas of improvement.
• Assist with meeting prep (PowerPoint, packets).
• Perform mortality and other focus reviews and discuss results with committees.
• Promote and coach continuous quality improvement activities.
• Understand UHS Scorecard and linkages to quality studies.
