Job summary

Vanguard EMS, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to work closely with the team coordinator and department manager to ensure processes meet IPC standards and quality expectations.

The role focuses on assembling components, inspecting work, and maintaining a clean, efficient production area. Required candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly.

• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and basic PCB handling (PCBA).

• Ability to interpret visual aids and drawings to verify quality.
• Professional in-person, phone, email, or written communication.
• Willingness to overtime to support production.
• Normal color vision.

Responsibilities

• Place electronic components into printed circuit boards following detailed instructions.
• Inspect and quality check own work and others.
• Ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate quality issues to the team and manager as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and keep area clean and organized.
• Assist in other departments and participate in controlled process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
