Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Bachelor of Science required.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in quality, patient safety, performance improvement, or a related healthcare role.
  • Current MA RN license.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical processes and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate quality, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives across clinical and operational areas.
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analyses (RCA), Apparent Cause Analyses (ACA), safety debriefs, and multidisciplinary reviews
  • Analyze quality and safety data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and support improvement efforts
  • Coach and collaborate with leaders and interdisciplinary teams on quality improvement, change management, and problem-solving methodologies
  • Support regulatory and accreditation readiness, including surveys, mock tracers, and compliance activities
  • Partner with Risk Management and Patient Relations to identify trends, mitigate risk, and strengthen patient safety
  • Provide leadership and support for peer review processes and the system-wide Peer Support Program
  • Promote a High Reliability and Just Culture through education, communication, and continuous improvement
  • Prepare and present quality and safety data to leadership, committees, and frontline teams
