Job summary

Sanford Health in Iron Mountain, MI seeks a Quality and Risk Management leader to oversee the quality management service, ensuring cost-effective quality improvement aligned with the organization's mission. Strong EMR familiarity and CPMS knowledge are essential for data submission and ongoing improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, with a Master’s preferred, and at least five years in quality or related areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years' experience in quality, patient safety, accreditation, infection prevention and/or process improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or CPHQ or equivalent preferred; RN license may be required.
• Experience with quality or value-based care programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the quality management service.
• Use data-driven and timely decisions to improve patient outcomes and safety.
• Collaborate with front-line staff, providers, leadership, and regulatory agencies.
• Lead or support performance improvement initiatives and measure results.
• Mentor staff and participate in training on quality programs and policies.
