Children’s Hospital & Medical Center - Omaha is seeking a Quality & Patient Safety Clinical Informaticist to lead data systems that support quality initiatives and patient safety. You will work with clinical and operational leaders to translate data into actionable improvements.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a health field and 3+ years in healthcare quality, patient safety, or informatics, plus familiarity with EPIC and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a health-related field required.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• 1-3 years experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or clinical informatics.
• 1-3 years familiarity with EPIC and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for quality and patient safety data systems to support strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present quality, performance improvement, and patient safety reports to committees and leadership.
• Translate clinical/operational needs into informatics solutions to improve patient safety and workflows.
• Facilitate improvement projects using rapid-cycle methodologies and change management.
