Job summary

CHI Saint Francis in Grand Island, NE, seeks a Clinical Informaticist to lead planning, implementation, and sustainment of clinical health information technology with clinical understanding.

You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure HIT strategies meet patient care needs, drive system optimization and quality reporting, and guide training and adoption of EPIC functionality.

Qualifications

• BS Clinical Degree or equivalent; clinical licensure required for clinical informaticist.
• EPIC proficiency or credentialing within one year of hire.
• Two years of clinic-level EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and sustainment of HIT with clinical input.
• Oversee projects from initiation to completion of implementation.
• Provide EPIC training for new hires and staff.
• Review optimization requests and assess workflow impact.
• Collaborate with EPIC vendors and teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain proficiency in company-specific applications.
