Job summary

Drug Plastics & Glass Company Inc. in Spartanburg, SC seeks a Packer Inspector/Backup Quality Control Inspector. Responsibilities include bottling inspection, labeling, and ensuring boxes are prepared and sealed correctly; training provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• High School Degree or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain empty boxes and prepare the box to receive the bottles.
• Apply labels on to the boxes for proper identification of the product.
• Inspect bottles in accordance with the defined quality standards.
• Remove full boxes from packing stand and seal accordingly.
• Grind all clean bottle scrap generated by the machines assigned to you.
• Step in as a Quality Control Inspector as needed.
