Job summary

Drug Plastics Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead our quality team on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will supervise Quality Inspectors, support accuracy of inspections, and ensure products meet defined customer quality standards.

The role involves coordinating audits, certificates of compliance, and 100% inspection reports while partnering with production and engineering to drive CAPAs and continuous improvement. Strong math and science skills a must.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferably with a major in math or science or equivalent experience in managing a Quality Department.
• Previous supervisory experience, at least 3 years preferred.
• Apply math and science skills and perform basic statistical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Quality Inspectors to insure that all quality and production standards are maintained.
• Interface with customers regarding audits, complaints, specifications and certificates of compliance.
• Prepare 100% inspection report and light transmission tests.
• Review Daily Inspection Reports, EPJ, and production schedules.
• Attend Priority Meetings prior to and after the shift change to discuss schedule changes, down equipment, quality issues and other miscellaneous items.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all manufacturing orders including Product Quality Standards, Quality Cards, Labels, Manufacturing Orders, Product Drawings, Bottle Inspection Reports, etc.
• Administer the training program for all Quality Inspectors and back-ups.
• Perform internal plant audits and assist in correcting any deficiencies.
• Jointly conduct root cause analysis and CAPAs for all customer complaints. Prepare customer complaint response letters as appropriate.
