Job summary

MS Companies is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Supervisor 2 to lead inspection teams within a manufacturing environment.

This role supervises daily operations, ensures quality standards, maintains customer relationships, and uses MS Companies’ technology-driven systems to drive performance and efficiency.The position requires flexibility to work any shift across locations as needed to support automotive clients.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with digital systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead teams effectively.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Flexibility to work any shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors to ensure performance, productivity, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and client-specific requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain work instructions and quality processes.
• Monitor production processes, control points, equipment, and personnel to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, drive improvements, and support cost reduction initiatives.
• Communicate expectations clearly; monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Address employee relations matters including attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns in partnership with HR.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to support operational success and career growth.
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and service excellence.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production demands and customer requirements.
• Accurately enter and manage time, production data, and other required inputs within company systems.
