Misfits Market is hiring a hands-on Quality Engineer Manager for our Fulfillment Center. You will lead facility quality strategy, drive CAPA and SOP development, and elevate daily operations through data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration.

You will supervise the QA Supervisor on the warehouse floor, implement RCA and SPC analytics, and ensure regulatory compliance (FDA/USDA/SQF). Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in QA, CI, or Process Engineering in manufacturing or high-volume fulfillment.
• Strong data analysis and Statistical Process Control skills.
• Experience with Project Management methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt a plus.
• Knowledge of FDA/USDA FSMA, SQF, GMPs and sanitation requirements.
• Spanish language skills desired.
• Excellent communication and warehouse-floor coaching ability.
• Able to spend ~50% on the warehouse floor in cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead site quality strategy and compliance execution for the fulfillment center.
• Coach and mentor the QA Supervisor; perform on-floor audits of picking, packing, shipping, and sanitation.
• Investigate defects and customer complaints; drive predictive mitigation.
• Define acceptance criteria with Inbound and Inventory Control to ensure item quality.
• Manage CAPA, validation activities, and SOP/document control implementations.
• Lead SOP deployment and problem‑solving training; implement new quality initiatives.
• Analyze SPC data and trend metrics; report weekly/monthly QoS and VOC feedback.
• Support management decisions with data-driven insights; ensure regulatory audit readiness.
• Maintain GMP/SQF compliance and prepare for third‑party and regulatory audits.
