Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Quality Assurance/Control professional to join our Brooks, KY facility. You will implement and maintain quality programs, ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, and support GMP-related activities within our distribution centers.

The role requires a four-year degree and at least four years of related experience, with occasional extended hours and on-call responsibilities for temperature excursions and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree and at least four years of related experience.
• On-site role located at Brooks, KY with no remote option.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet productivity goals.
• Ability to train and guide others in quality systems and procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience supporting client audits and regulatory inspections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support front line operations supervisors in determining root causes by teaching/facilitating root cause methods.
• Monitors distribution center supplier quality and helps drive improvements.
• Issue corrective action requests (CARs) and ensure GMP SOP compliance (calibration, validation, change control).
• Assist in evaluating temperature-controlled shipping containers and advise operations staff on quality matters.
• Develop and analyze reports for quality indicators (audits, returns, complaints, deviations).
• Maintain relationships with internal customers and regulatory bodies; gather documents for audits.
• Be on call for temperature excursions and quality emergencies; perform related duties as assigned.
