Alomere Health is seeking a Quality Nurse to support Infection Prevention and ACHC standards under the supervision of the Supervisor of Quality. The role emphasizes surveillance, policy development, and collaborative quality improvement across departments.

Responsibilities include data support, reporting to CDC/NHSN and MDH, and coordination of accreditation efforts. Must be an RN licensed in Minnesota with acute care experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care hospital and patient care practice.
• Active and current RN registration/licensure in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance activities of infection prevention with implementation of control measures and prevention of infections.
• Assists with clinical data through targeted and non-targeted surveillance.
• Assists with scheduling and preparing for Infection Prevention Committee.
• Assists with determining when an infection is hospital- or community-acquired based on CDC/NHSN guidelines.
• Assists with reporting mandated surveillance outcomes to CDC/NHSN and MDH.
• Supports continuous quality improvement and maintains confidentiality of medical records.
