Job summary

Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Forge team seeks a Quality Notification Coordinator to support the quality review process for critical aerospace components. You will determine if parts can be reworked, repaired, or accepted while aiding on-time delivery.

This is a 1st Shift role, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, onsite at our Columbus Forge facility. Join a team dedicated to aerospace quality and performance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of related experience in manufacturing, operations, logistics, quality, or engineering support.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams and maintaining documentation and data packages.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update Laboratory Quality Notifications (LQNs) in SAP and Documentum.
  • Collect, organize, and validate inspection, laboratory, and manufacturing data.
  • Research part history in SAP and other systems and assemble test results and requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Materials to expedite LQN closures.
  • Maintain LQN records, quality holds, and tracking reports and ensure compliance.
  • Support LQN review meetings with complete data packages and status updates.

Job Summary

Join Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Forge team as a Quality Notification Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in the quality review process for critical aerospace components. In this role, your work will provide Quality and Engineering teams with the information needed to determine whether components can be reworked, repaired, or accepted while supporting product quality and on‑time delivery.

This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

What You Will Do
  • Create and update Laboratory Quality Notifications (LQNs) in SAP and Documentum.
  • Collect, organize, and validate inspection, laboratory, and manufacturing data for parts that do not initially meet specifications.
  • Research part history using SAP and other business systems, and assemble test results, engineering requirements, and supporting documentation to support quality disposition decisions.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to include but not limited to Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Materials to expedite LQN task closures for LQN completion.
  • Maintain accurate LQN records, quality holds, and tracking reports while ensuring compliance with quality procedures and documentation standards.
  • Support LQN review meetings by providing complete data packages, status updates, and documentation that enable informed quality decisions and support on‑time delivery.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, operations, logistics, supply chain, quality, engineering support, administrative support, military service, or another fast‑paced environment requiring organization, attention to detail, and coordination across multiple teams.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience using Documentum to manage technical or quality documentation.
  • Proficiency with SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and testing requirements.
  • Knowledge of forge disk manufacturing processes, part numbering, and operations.
  • Experience supporting quality management systems in an aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environment.
