Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client, a leading nutritional supplement manufacturer in Opelika, Alabama, is seeking a Biology Lab Technician to join the Quality Control team. The role focuses on microbiological testing of raw materials, products, and environmental samples, ensuring adherence to GMP and USP procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Biology, basic lab knowledge, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology or related field.
• Basic knowledge of microbiology and laboratory practices.
• GMP experience is a plus and laboratory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, products, and environmental samples.
• Follow GMP, USP, and laboratory procedures.
• Review test results and laboratory documentation.
• Support environmental monitoring and OOS investigations.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas.
