Vertiv Corporation seeks a candidate to coordinate quality tasks in Ironton, Ohio. You will assist engineers and managers with data analytics and quality work, ensuring conformance to quality systems and standards.
The role includes time studies, work instructions, tooling tweaks, and safety coordination. You will help implement corrective actions, drive process improvements, and support ergonomics and workstation setup in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
Job Description Coordinates quality task and responsibilities in support Ironton, Ohio. Assists supervisor, engineers, managers and team with technical resources necessary to improve efficiencies and quality. Focus will be on data analytics and quality engineering work. Assures that all processes in the technical support areas conform to Quality system and standards Assist with corrective action and follows up with quality issues. Responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, evaluating, and recommending process improvements; time studies; work instructions; assisting with tooling modifications; and assisting with relocating and setting up of stations. Assists coach(es) with the coordination of departmental safety team meetings. Assists with corrective actions and follows up on quality issues. Provides technical support and troubleshoot complex issues. Recommends process improvements. Conducts time studies and work instructions Assists with tool and jig modifications Improves workstation ergonomics Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. able to work cross functionally. Able to foster teamwork and resolve conflict. Able to work in fast past environment and be self-motivated and directed. Able to work long hours and a variety of shifts as needed.
