Job summary

Aalberts Surface Technologies Livonia Inc seeks a Quality Manager and Metallurgist to implement and control all manufacturing quality systems at the Livonia and Lansing facilities. You will lead the Quality department and oversee Lab Techs while driving continuous improvement in heat treatment and coating processes.

Role requires expertise in ISO/IATF/NADCAP audits, strong metallurgical knowledge, and experience with SPC and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Metallurgy or related field.
• Minimum of five years of manufacturing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of heat treating, SAE steels, hardness and microstructure; SPC quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality department including Lab Techs.
• Develop and analyze heat treatment and phosphate coating processes.
• Audits for ISO, NADCAP and IATF; drive continuous improvement.
