Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Sustained Medical Assistant certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 3+ years of healthcare experience including managed care setting.
• 3+ years of data analysis/quality chart reviews.
• 2+ years as a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Excel.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to mentor others.
• Proficiency with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify Star/HEDIS opportunities and data capture.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to identify trends and improvement strategies.
• Communicate scheduling challenges affecting quality outcomes.
• Track barriers to improve access to care and referral follow-through.
• Perform data collection, data entry, and chart submission activities.
• Assist with local IRR audits and chart chasing.
• Navigate multiple documentation systems to support HEDIS/Star measures.
