Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with food preparation, maintain records, and support daily reporting. You will help ensure quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Follow the uniform policy and daily manager communication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
• Scrub counters and sanitize steam tables and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, balanced environment and perform cleaning duties.
