Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Inspector to support the manufacturing process with CMM inspection and GD&T interpretation.

You will inspect fabricated or machined parts, run inspection programs, and assist machinists with drawings and specifications. This on-site, third-shift position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in quality/manufacturing, including 1 year with a CMM (Zeiss preferred).

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; otherwise ability to follow English work instructions.
• At least 3 years in quality/manufacturing with 1 year operating a CMM.
• Strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing process with CMM inspector support for parts.
• Run CMM inspection programs and perform manual inspection.
• Assist machinists with drawings, specifications and tolerances.
• Handle complex part inspections from multiple departments as required.
• Inspect parts on a surface plate using height gauges and gauges.

You will report to the Quality Inspection Supervisor and will have an 3rd Shift onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:High School diploma or GED preferred.
