Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation is seeking a Quality Control professional to oversee QA/QC on civil infrastructure projects in the Virginia Beach area. You will interpret standards, ensure compliance, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex work.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality programs, evaluating work plans, and supporting field personnel with documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in quality control.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience with field quality assurance on civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Interprets contract proposals, specifications, and standards for evaluation of the quality control requirements.
• Develops and implements a quality assurance and quality control program on the project that meets the client requirements and the Company's expectation.
• Evaluates work plans for quality controls and offers recommendations for improvements.
• Supports the development of field personnel related to quality.
• Prepares and tracks written inspection reports, management reports and quality records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
